ACC also believes that by doing this project, we promote economic growth by cultivating job skills for opportunities in the field of comedy, humor and content creation.
ACC aims to create a new generation of comedians who will become writers, content creators and perform in different types of comedy.

Humor presents an important pillar in influencing the development of society as a whole.
Humor is just one of the many common forms of human communication and social interaction, so it is clear how its social character, although not always evident, plays an important role in the shaping of society. Every day, we come across funny stories being told at work by our colleagues, sit-coms on evening TV, and we face so many humorous situations that affect our lives one way or another, whether we’re aware of it or not. All these humorous varieties are closely related to the social and cultural values of society as an entity.
Jordan is one of the few countries in the Middle East and North Africa Region that is still relatively stable against all odds, the Jordanian people with more than 70% of its population under the age of 30 are under tremendous economic and political pressure due to its location on the map, neighboring countries that are facing constant instability. With a 19.1% unemployment rate according to a report released by the Jordanian Department of Statistics (DoS) , Jordanians are now looking for ways to achieve a better future in different fields, industrial, financial, technological and cultural.
With that in mind, the idea to start the Amman Comedy Club initiative was born, to train talented people residing in Jordan on the art of humor and laughter, enabling Jordanian youth with the tools and skills they need to create content that appeals to Jordanian audience, creating a culture of laughter and humor within society.
Humor has tremendous value; It’s an art form, but it’s not a mystery—it has structure and formula. Amman Comedy Club aims to introduce this knowledge to Jordan, and teach it to talented Jordanian youth, empowering young Jordanian men and women with the skill of comedy writing, providing these talented people with the opportunity to create a better future for themselves as content creators.[/ld_fancy_heading][ld_spacer height=”25px”]
Yazan has more than 15 years’ experience generating revenue and increasing brand awareness and exposure for different organizations in Jordan and Saudi Arabia.
Since 2017, he has been leading the Business Development for Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism (ARIJ).
He holds a master’s degree in business administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Hashemite University, Jordan.
Yazan’s passion is to turn ideas into reality, and one of his life long dreams is to create and lead Amman Comedy Club.
Yazan is also an expert trainer and consultant in non-profit fundraising, proposal writing, business development, stand up comedy and Improv comedy.
Moeen is a marketing and communications expert, he has more than 15 years’ experience in events management, branding, marketing communications and design, Moeens passion is to create comedy content and hopes to host his own political satire show one day.
Moeen is also a trainer in Satire writing and Sketch comedy writing.
